Contacts

Manistee County Released Inmates is a private reference, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve official records.

Official Manistee Contacts

Direct an inquiry to the office that created the fact. The Sheriff owns county jail custody and movement records. The courts own orders and registers. MDOC owns state prison, parole, and felony-probation records. VINE support can help with the notification service, but it cannot correct an agency’s custody data.

  • For a named release search or written record steps, start with the home page.
  • For community supervision, use the parole and probation office shown in OTIS.
  • For a same-day jail question, call corrections rather than relying on an unverified online list.
  • For a prison parole or discharge, use OTIS and MDOC records, not the county jail.
  • For federal or immigration detention, use BOP, the federal court or USMS, or ICE as the custody owner requires.

The jail corrections line handles the first physical-custody check. Sheriff Administration receives written requests for the county booking and release or movement record.
