Official Manistee Contacts

Direct an inquiry to the office that created the fact. The Sheriff owns county jail custody and movement records. The courts own orders and registers. MDOC owns state prison, parole, and felony-probation records. VINE support can help with the notification service, but it cannot correct an agency’s custody data.

Jail and Sheriff

The jail corrections line handles the first physical-custody check. Sheriff Administration receives written requests for the county booking and release or movement record.

Request electronic copies and an itemized estimate. The county and MDOC calculate allowable FOIA costs from the work required, so no flat fee is promised here.

Manistee Courts

The 85th District Court handles misdemeanors and felony preliminary events. The 19th Circuit Court handles felony disposition and sentence. A court order can explain the legal basis for a movement, while the jail record supplies the physical exit detail.

Court-copy and certification charges follow the clerk’s current schedule. Confirm the amount when ordering.

MDOC and Supervision

OTIS should identify the active office for a person on state parole or felony probation. Manistee’s listed state field office and the local District Court Probation contact are separate operations.

Board and VINE Help

The Michigan Parole Board can address its process and status channels. VINE support assists with search and notification functions, while source-record corrections remain with the reporting facility.
